How do I restore a backup of my hosting plan?

In the "Hosting" section of the menu in the Control Panel, select the hosting plan for which you want to restore a backup. After selecting the plan, in the upper part, you will notice one of the tabs entitled "Data Backup".

Read the important information at the top of this section, which is related to the available backup dates, as well as the availability of information after restoring a backup.

Next, choose the date from which you want to restore the data. There are only a few available dates at a given time, which are constantly changing.

If you want to restore a backup of an older date than the available ones, you will need to contact our team. Unlike this service through the Control Panel, which is free and takes place through a local server, the service for restoring older backups costs €34.07 because it requires data recovery through a remote location.

After selecting the date, three options will appear (restore of all subdomains, email configuration, and MySQL databases). You can choose one, two, or all of these options. By selecting all three options, a full backup of the hosting will be executed.

For security reasons, the number of allowed backups on one hosting account is three times per day.

Select "Backup now". You will be notified by email about the backup status after the backup is finished. The possible scenarios are:

  • Processing - The backup is being processed at the moment.
  • Unsuccessful - The backup failed. You will receive an appropriate email notification, after which you will need to contact our team.
  • Successfully completed - The backup is successful. You will be notified by email.
  • Completed with warning - The restoration is complete, but with possible errors. Make a manual check on the website if everything is OK. If not, try to execute a full backup of the website (by selecting all three options).

The history of your backups will be available on the Control Panel itself, where you can see in detail when the backups were done, and what their final status is.
