How long does it take to activate the services

Most clients need fast activation of the services they ordered. This is usually due to the need for online advertising, establishing contact with partners and suppliers, email communication using a branded domain, or transferring hosting from another provider to MKhost servers for any reason.

One of the most common questions after placing an order is:“How long does activation take?”You can find the answer below.

1. Macedonian Domains (.mk / .com.mk / .net.mk / .org.mk / .мкд)

With the new MARnet regulation effective from 11.02.2025, the procedure for registering .mk domains is clearly defined.Anyone wishing to register a .mk domain – whether a legal entity or an individual – must submit a request, which can be submitted electronically (digitally signed), in person, or via cargo service (available only for legal entities). This is in accordance with the Law on Electronic Documents, Electronic Identification, and Trust Services, as well as the relevant sub-legal acts.

Registration can be performed by:

• Legal entities (companies, institutions, organizations)
• Individuals

The following steps must be followed:

Macedonian Domains (.mk / .com.mk / .net.mk / .мкд)

• If you order a domain and pay by card, you will immediately receive a confirmation of payment.
• If the payment is made via bank transfer, it will be recorded once it appears in our statement, and you will receive a confirmation of payment.
• However, the domain will only be registered after you submit the completed and signed domain registration request. Once MKhost administrators verify the request, you will receive a confirmation email of successful domain registration.

General requirements:

• The registrant must place the order independently via the MKhost website:Click Here
• The domain registration request must be completed and signed using one of the following methods:
• Digital signature (KIBS, TELEKOM, or Eurotrust)
• Personal delivery
• Cargo/postal service (only for legal entities)

Payment:

• By card or bank transfer

For legal entities:Required documents:

• Domain registration request (completed and signed)
• Current company status document (not older than 6 months)
• Signature of the director
• Company stamp (required only if a digital signature is not used)

Submission method:

• In person, via cargo/post, or digitally signed

Payment:

• By card or bank transferTip: For fast registration, it is recommended to use a digital signature.

For individuals:Required documents:

• Domain registration request (completed and signed)
• Signature of the registrant and submission method:
• Digital signature (KIBS, TELEKOM, or Eurotrust)
• In person (with ID card or passport)

Payment:

• By card or bank transferTip: For fast registration, it is recommended to use a digital signature.

Important:

• Make sure all information is accurate before signing the request.
• Incorrectly completed or unsigned documents may result in registration refusal.
• For legal entities using a stamp instead of a digital signature, the stamp must be clear and valid.

1. International Domains (.com / .org / .net …)

• International domains are registered immediately after payment.
• If paid by card – registration is instant.
• If paid via bank transfer – registration occurs as soon as the payment is recorded in our statement.

1. Hosting Packages

• Hosting packages are activated immediately after payment.
• Card payment – activation is instant.
• Bank payment – activation occurs immediately after payment is recorded.
• After activation, you will receive all login details via email.

• If the order includes both hosting and a domain, activation follows the same principles as described above for points 1 and 2.
