With the entry into force of the new Rulebook of MARNET for the registration and management of .mk domains (as of 11.02.2025), the registration procedure and rules have been precisely regulated.
A .mk domain can be registered by:
IMPORTANT:Foreign natural persons are NOT allowed to register a .mk domain.
Anyone who is eligible and wishes to register a .mk domain – whether a legal entity or a natural person (with residence or temporary residence in North Macedonia) – must submit an application, which can be filed electronically (digitally signed) or in person.
This is in accordance with the Law on Electronic Documents, Electronic Identification and Trust Services, as well as the bylaws derived from it.
