Digital Signing of .mk Domain Requests with eIDEasy and Evrotrust

According to the regulations issued byMARnetfor the registration and management of .mk domains, registering a .mk domain requires submitting a request either in person or electronically in accordance with theLaw on Electronic Documents, Electronic Identification, and Trust Services, as well as the subordinate acts derived from these laws.

This means that if you do not have a digital signature for signing, you will need to travel to one of our locations to submit the documents (the request and any additional documentation if needed) for domain registration.

eIDeasy is another trusted platform designed to facilitate secure digital signing, with a special focus on helping individuals and organizations connect with their national eID (electronic identity) systems. eIDeasy supports electronic signatures through various national electronic identity cards and systems, enabling users to verify their identity and sign documents digitally.

eIDeasy acts as an intermediary between the user and the eID infrastructure, providing seamless access to national identity systems.

How to Install and Use Evrotrust

Evrotrust offers a mobile application that can be easily installed and used to digitally sign documents. Full instructions for installation and identity registration/verification are available in the following video.

Step 1: Install the Evrotrust AppGo to the Google Play Store (Android) or Apple App Store (iOS) and search for “Evrotrust.” Download and install the app.

Step 2: Register and Verify Your IdentityOpen the app and create an account by entering your personal details. Complete the identity verification process by following the instructions. This may include providing a valid ID, such as a passport or ID card, and verifying your identity via a video call.

Step 3: Sign Documents DigitallyOnce your identity is verified, you can start using Evrotrust to sign documents. When creating an order inMKhost, a registration request will automatically be generated with the entered registrant details. After completing the order, you will receive a notification on your mobile device that a document from MKhost is ready for signing. With just two clicks, you can sign the document.

The MKhost administrator will receive the signed request and verify the signature against the request details. If everything is correct, the request will be archived, and the service will become available. You will receive confirmation of the signed document, which can be viewed in the “Document History” section of your app.
