In order to ensure a higher level of data security, all hosting plans atMKHostinclude an automatic server backup system. Backups are created automatically and serve as an additional layer of protection in case of data loss, hosting changes, or other issues related to the website.
AtMKHost, we provide two types of backups:
1. Free Server Backups
Automatic backups are created on all servers where hosting accounts are located, atno additional cost.
These backups are intended for quick website restoration in case of a problem.
Backups are created on the following schedule:
Daily backups
Weekly backups
The backup system uses anincremental method, which means that only the changes made to the data are stored. This optimizes both storage space and the speed of the backup process.
Daily backups arerotated, meaning that today's backup replaces yesterday’s backup, while weekly backups are kept for a longer period according to the backup policy.

By selecting all three options, afull hosting backup restorationwill be performed.
Free Backup Restorations
MKHost allowstwo free full backup restorations from the local server per year.
If additional restorations are required within the same year, the service will be charged:
990 MKD + 18% VAT (one-time fee)
Selective File Restoration
If it is necessary to restore onlyspecific files or a portion of the websitefrom a local backup, the service will be charged as a one-time fee:
990 MKD + 18% VAT
2. Older Backup from a Remote Location
If it is necessary to restore anolder backup that is not available in the regular server backups, our technical support team can retrieve the data from aremote backup location.
The price for this service is:
1990 MKD + 18% VAT (one-time fee)
This service is charged because the process includes:
locating the backup archive
retrieving the data from the remote location
manually restoring the data
Remote Backup Policy
To ensure additional data security, backup copies are stored onremote infrastructure.
According to this policy, each hosting user is expected to haveat least 3 backup copies stored on a remote location within one year.
Retrieving Data from a Terminated Hosting Account
If the hosting service isterminated due to unpaid invoices, the client may request a copy of their datawithout reactivating the service.
The cost for this service is:
990 MKD + 18% VAT– if the request is made within10 days of termination
1990 MKD + 18% VAT– if more than10 days have passed
Upon payment of this fee, the client will receive acopy of their data from the terminated hosting account.
MKHost does not issue refunds for this service and assumes no responsibility if the client is not satisfied with the condition of the restored data.
Reactivation of a Terminated Hosting Account
If the client settles all outstanding debtswithin 10 days of terminationand wishes to continue using the service, MKHost can perform adata restoration.
The cost for this service is:
990 MKD + 18% VAT– restoration from alocal backup (within 10 days)
1990 MKD + 18% VAT– restoration from aremote backup server (after 10 days)
MKHost does not issue refunds for this service and assumes no responsibility if the client is not satisfied with the condition of the restored data.
