Internship with possibility of employment - Technical Support Agent (Customer Support Agent)

MKhost, a leading Macedonian hosting and web provider, is expanding its team and offering a 3-month paid internship with the possibility of employment for the position of Customer Support Agent.

This internship is intended for candidates who have already started a career in the IT industry and want to gain hands-on experience with real systems and learn how professional technical customer support works.

Main responsibilities

Providing professional and timely customer support via phone, email, and ticketing system

Analyzing and identifying issues, and providing accurate and effective solutions with team support

Participating in process automation and executing tasks related to Linux servers (under mentorship)

Following internal procedures, policies, and communication standards

Supporting sales activities (pre-sales leads and upsell)

Contacting new and existing clients to present services

Continuous learning and upgrading knowledge about services and technologies

Building trust and long-term relationships with clients

Maintaining professional and calm communication, especially during incidents

How is progress evaluated?

Success during the internship is measured through:

quality and clarity of communication with users

proactivity, initiative, and responsibility

participation with ideas for process improvement

Required qualifications

Excellent communication skills (active listening, clear expression, empathy)

Ability to work independently and in a team

Basic knowledge and proactive learning of:

Domains and DNS

Web hosting and servers

Linux and/or Windows server environments

Basic Python and/or Bash scripting for automation

Ability to learn and adapt quickly

What will you learn?

Basics of hosting, domains, and DNS systems

Working with cPanel / Plesk

Basics of Linux and server infrastructure

Solving real technical problems

Communication with clients in a professional IT environment

Working in a support team and ticketing systems

Basics of process automation

Using AI tools and agents for process automation and optimization

Application of AI in daily tasks (support, analysis, workflow optimization)

Nice to have:

Students or graduates of technical faculties (Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering or similar fields)

Candidates in their final year of studies or near graduation

Basic or intermediate knowledge of web technologies and internet infrastructure

Previous experience or familiarity with:

hosting and domains

DNS systems

Linux or Windows servers

cPanel or Plesk

Basic understanding of HTTP, MySQL, SSH, IMAP or similar technologies

Strong desire to learn and grow in the IT industry

Proactive attitude, responsibility, and interest in technical problems
