Can I register a domain, but I want the domain to be hosted on another provider?

Yes, you can register a domain through MKhost and host it on another provider.

First, check that the domain name you want to register is free for registration. If it is alreadytaken try another name or other extension.

When you finally decide on your domain name, you can order the domain, of course it's freefor registration.

You can register your domain and place it on our server, just to have it and keep it for the futurewhen you plan to activate it and create your own website.Or you can register a domain and host it on another server. MKHost will not be against it, normake any obstacles. You can freely host your domain wherever you want and in the future if youwant to change the hosting company or change DNS servers, you can do it whenever you want.

The applicant is obliged, prior to submitting the request, to provide at least two correctly setname servers for the subject domain, visible on the Internet.

Properly installed name servers (DNS servers) are those servers that have adequate programsupport for name servers, and as such:

• have exactly one SOA record for the subject domain

• have a NS record for each name server

• have an A record for each name server

• All name servers provide an identical response to queries regarding the previous three points.

MKhost can register the .mk domain name with any DNS servers that meet the above mentionedconditions. If there are errors in the domain setting, MKhost will notify you to take measures andcorrect the mistakes for the successful registration of your mk domain.

The registration period of the international domains is instantaneous, immediately after thedomain payment.

The registration period of Macedonian domains usually lasts from 1-5 working days and depends on whether the domain of the hosting provider will be properly set up in advance. I've listed’DNS servers for the new domain, and it's not properly set up, the procedure will take a longer period of time until you manage the errors by setting it as we have explained above.

If the domain setting procedure is not clear to you, provide this information to your hostingprovider and they’ll know exactly how to set up the domain.

Other operations after Macedonian domain registration are:

• the ability to transfer the domain name to another person or company through MKhost at any
• the possibility to transfer the domain name to another company by issuing a document from
• the possibility to delete the domain so it’ll no longer exist
• change DNS servers as needed
